Fake Advertisement Draws Thousands of Visits and Messages

The Durham Regional Police Service in Ontario recently conducted an operation called Project Firebird, aimed at targeting pedophiles seeking minors. As part of this operation, a fake advertisement was created to create the illusion that individuals could purchase sexual services from minors. According to police, the ad received over 6,600 visits in just four days and received messages from more than 600 different phone numbers.

Multiple Arrests Made During Bust

During the operation, police arrested five men who were allegedly seeking to engage in illegal activities with minors. The individuals arrested include Krish Subiah, 37, from Clarington, Rajwant Singh, 30, from Belleville, Mahbubar Rahman, 48, from Pickering, Sarangan Kirupamoorthy, 28, from Whitby, and Rajasekaran Natarajan, 38, from Clarington. All of the men have been charged with various offenses related to luring a child, obtaining sexual services from a minor, and invitation to sexual touching.
